Recap Season 2, Episode 10
Whew, time went by fast.
Sorry, I went out for a pack of smokes there and never came back. I’ve been busy.
I did things not on the internet.
I fell into a Shameless sinkhole and have been trying to claw my way out.
Anyway, it’s not important. What matters is I’m back and I’ll never leave you again! (Probably.) Thank you all for your awesome patience and notes of encouragement. They mean so much to me!
Right, so where were we? Well, it’s been at least five fucking years since the episode aired, and we’ve all pretty much forgotten what happened. But who cares? We’re here, we’re doing this, and we’re gonna have fun anyway.
So everyone get a seat, grab a beer, and relax.

- I’ve been at work until 8/9 PM most nights.
- I went to D.C.
- I planned on writing while I was traveling by bus and got a solid half way through the recap when I got up to go the bathroom and when I came back to my computer the Word document I had been writing in was completely blank and everything I’d written had been deleted. I’d like to blame my computer but really it’s my fault for using a bus bathroom. I should have known there’d be consequences.
- I’m still processing my anger over the changes to the Robb story line.
- Magic Mike.
- The reason I was able to post week by week during the season was by ignoring my friends and allocating work time to writing and my chickens came home to roost on both counts in a big way recently and I’ve been swimming in actually having to spend time with people and doing the work I am paid to do. I know, it’s been some bullshit.
- Karaoke.
- I’m subconsciously trying to prolong the process of writing it so I have something to look forward to during the 300 day break between seasons.
- I had to call the cops recently on a mugging. (It didn’t really affect my ability to write the recap I’d just like to use “crime fighting” as an excuse.)
- I switched over to Facebook Timeline.
- I don’t want to blame it all on Fifty Shades of Grey but it certainly isn’t helping.
So it’s coming! I know I always say that.
